I found a website that older BIOS versions for this motherboard. The older versions should be available on Intel's support website, but their not. Again, just another degree of frustration with the "new" Intel support.

Going back to your initial concern on updating the BIOS from BIOS SE5C620.86B.00.01.0013 to SE5C620.86B.02.01.0008 is not recommended. The current BIOS you are at is old so we would recommend updating it incrementally.

Now to address your second concern on why we do not have older BIOS packages in our website is because Intel recommends using the latest firmware update package with bug fixes, which is available on download center. The old BIOS firmware packages contain security bugs and are shared under NDA for reference only.

We would appreciate if you can let us know if you have an existing CNDA with us. If no, you can navigate to the following link Intel® Resource and Documentation Center to register.
