1. Are the following processors multi-chip modules (mcm)?

Intel Xeon w5-3435X

2. I'm trying to find this information myself, went through Intel's docs, communities, blogs, ... but no clear picture on this. How can oneself find out if it these are MCMs?

This is something we have complained about for years. It has been requested that this information be added to ark, but it appears to not be important enough for Intel to bother with.

The only thing you can do is to wait for one of the Intel support engineers to respond.

Based on the information outlined in the Intel support article, the 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors (formerly codenamed Sapphire Rapids) and the 5th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors (formerly codenamed Emerald Rapids) utilize different architectures.

The 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors based on the Sapphire Rapids architecture utilize a multi-tile (multi-chip) approach. Whereas the 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors are single-die package processors for Medium Core Count (MCC) and Low Core Count (LCC) SKUs, or multi-chip modules for Extreme Core Count (XCC) SKUs.

I've read that document that you're referring and based upon that document, there are two things:

a./ "....For example, the 4th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors based on the Sapphire Rapids architecture utilize a multi-tile (multi-chip) approach...".

Can we conclude that all these processors are multichip?

b./ "...The 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors are single-die package processors for Medium Core Count (MCC) and Low Core Count (LCC) SKUs, or multi-chip modules for Extreme Core Count (XCC) SKUs....".

Which 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors are single-chip and which ones are multi-chip?

And maybe as a third question:

Are all processors that are not 4th/5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors single-chip processors?

My question still remains if following processors are multi-chip modules, as this info cannot be found anywhere publicly:

Intel Xeon w5-2455X

Intel Xeon w5-2465X

Intel Xeon w5-2445

Xeon Gold 6334
