The description of the issue is very similar to a http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/ss4000-e/sb/CS-033844.htm Loss of System Access Issue. You may also shutdown the unit, remove all drives, and power on the system to boot to its local firmware, once you have access to the GUI you insert one drive at the time to see if it can read the drive properly. This is to eliminate the chance of a multiple drive failure.

It says system degraded and all the hard disk lights on the front are red. How can I locate which disk failed. I have a little bit unix experience. I mainly use windows. Since it is degraded, I should be able to recover the files or copy of them if I can bring the system back.

Dashboard

Free0 B

Used0 B

Backup0 BTotal Space0 B
05/31/2015 7:32 pm

https://192.168.0.6/dash-dev.html?t=2

https://192.168.0.6/dash-dev.html?t=2 4 disks on your storage device have incorrect data on them.
