error integrating parallel composer with visual studio 2008

Parallel studio installer is unable to integrate parallel composer with visual studio 2008 and gives an MB_OK error message, then it continues file the amplifier and the inspecroe.

running the installer again on (repair) option, it gives the same result, and the composer is not integrated.

what are the possible workarounds ?

Unless the VS2008 is express edition, the Intel Parallel Composer should integrate to it.

Please try following:
1. update "C:Program FilesIntelParallel StudioComposerVS IntegrationC++VS2008integrate.bat"

remove "echo off"
remove "/s" after "regsvr32"

2. open a regular cmd window from [Start -> Run -> type in "cmd"] assuming IA32 system.
3. goto the folder of "integrate.bat" above
4. run "integrate.bat /u" - 3 times to uninstall & clean up
5. run "integrate.bat" - 1 time to install
6. note following: the output text in the cmd window; the pop-up dialog msg from regsvr32.
7. is there anything strange to you? please post the result here.
