Hello, everyone
I am trying to run an old fortran program written in Microsot fortran v.5.0. I was able to use compaq fortran's df command in the fortran command prompt to compile my program with the quickwin capabilities (libs:qwin). However, I keep getting a runtime error severe 64 - input conversion. The program I am running was working fine, but we lost our compiler and need to upgrade it a little. Now that I have compiled it with compaq fortran I am getting errors. The program is sort of a formatting program. It takes in a text file and reformats it. Each row in the text file starts and ends with a quote. My program gets rid of the quotes and adds columns, etc. Can anyone help me with this problem. Please help.

We would need to see the program and the data. I suggest you send a ZIP file of your project, along with a sample data file, to vf-support@compaq.com and we'll take a look.

Steve
