Dear sir,
I just have Compaq Visual Fortran 6.5 today. However I got one
problem. While I was installing this program, it said I should install it
in the same folder with Visual C. I got no problem, because I also have
Visual C++6.0 installed on my PC. After the installation finished, I got
the problem. All program in folder "Compaq Visual Fortran 6" work
properly, except Developer Studio. I mean Dependency Walker, Error Lookup,
Fortran Command prompt,... do work properly. While I try to run Developer
Studio I got the dialog box say
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Cannot load package 'devdtg' because its internal version number, or the
internal version number of one of its components, does not match the
version of the Developer Studio shell. Do you want to continue?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------
After I click 'OK'. I get
------------------------------------------------------------------------
DEVDTG
This required file cannot be loaded. Please re-install Visual Fortran.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I try to run Visual C, I get the same thing as Visual Fortran.
Then I reinstall my Visual C, I get something like above, except name of
the package has changed to some name that is similar to the above name.
I try many ways but it does not work. Finally I install Visual C
and Visual Fortran on different drives, and both program work now.
Could you please give me the advices how I can install both
programs in the same folder?
Thank you very much sir.

Best regards,
Atit Koonsrisuk
