I installed MS Visual Studio to use Visual Basic in debugging another programmer's code that uses DLLs built with CVF 6.0B3. Now I can no longer acces the CVF Help files and the access to VB's help is no great shakes either - HTML Help seems only to get buggier and buggier with each "enhancement." I seem remember an old forum issue on this subject, but I couldn't find it.

I tried reinstalling the help components from CVF distribution. While that seemed to work, the help is still not available.

Thanks
John Carman

John

Thanks - If you hit me in the head often enough, I might remember to check the FAQ's first! The integration between CVF Help and Visual Studio is a bit flaky - CVF allows me to browse and choose the help collection, but Visual Basic does not offer this in its Options. This means that if I want to work CVF Dlls into VB front-ends, I away have to change collections before returning to the VB side.

Since I've been a Fortran programmer longer than I care to discuss, I think the KB solution of just making a shortcut to the CVF Help may be my approach.

Thanks again.
