I replaced the hard drive for my computer and try to re-install the intel-fortran. However, during the installation, when I try to generate the unlock code to active the software, it show the License is Expired. Can someone help me out on this issue. Thanks.

Hi Fernando,
The issue was resolved for the Jian who had posted this issue. Also, this is a known issue and you can refer to: http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/284087#comment-1714548
There are patched MSI for Updates 6-11 in the above thread that you can use depending on your update version.

   Follow the steps below:
Download the appropriate MSI zip file from the above thread (see in attachments that Steve Lionel has posted there)
   1. Run the install executable and uncheck the "Remove temporary extracted files after installation". When the extraction is finished, cancel the install. (If you have already done an install with this box unchecked, go to step 2.

   2. Open the downloaded patched ZIP file and extract the included .msi file to <EXTRACT_LOCATION>\installs\1033\w_cprof_ide_p_12.*.<YOUR version="">\

For example, copy the file "w_cproide_common_p_12.1.233.msi" to sub-folder of 1033:
      c:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Downloads\w_fcompxe_novsshell_2011.6.233\installs\1033\w_cproide_common_p_12.1.233
And the rest of the msi files (w_cprodoc_vs_p_12.1.233.msi) to:
     c:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Downloads\w_fcompxe_novsshell_2011.6.233\installs\1033\w_cprodoc_vs_p_12.1.233

Ensure that your msi file is copied and replaced to the one located in the sub-folder of "1033", instead of by copied directly under "1033".

The full path of each file is like:
c:\Program Files x86\Intel\Downloads\w_fcompxe_novsshell_2011.6.233\installs\1033\w_cprof_ide_p_12.1.233\w_cprof_ide_p_12.1.233.msi
c:\Program Files (x86) \Intel\Downloads\w_fcompxe_novsshell_2011.6.233\installs\1033\w_cproidb_vs_p_12.1.233\w_cproidb_vs_p_12.1.233.msi
c:\Program Files (x86) \Intel\Downloads\w_fcompxe_novsshell_2011.6.233\installs\1033\w_cproide_common_p_12.1.233\w_cproide_common_p_12.1.233.msi
c:\Program Files (x86) \Intel\Downloads\w_fcompxe_novsshell_2011.6.233\installs\1033\w_cprodoc_vs_p_12.1.233\w_cprodoc_vs_p_12.1.233.msi

3. Run setup.exe from the folder where the installer was extracted.
============================================================

After patching the updated msi files the install should go through fine.

Kittur</YOUR></EXTRACT_LOCATION>
