topic Problems with a 486? in Software Archive

You will probably laugh at this message, but the colleague I've mentioned in a previous post is using, by choice, a 486 DX2 66MHz machine for his work (and also using FPS 4.0).

Other colleagues have asked him if he wants another computer and he steadfastedly refused. I am certain that he will change the compiler to CVF, and I would like to know if there are any potential conflicts or problems that may occur on this machine (besides the incredibly slow compile time). The executables will be used on a variety of platforms from 95 to Win2000 Professional.

TIA,
dfh

Should work ok, as long as he has enough RAM (32MB at a minimum, 64MB would be better). It will be slow to build.

Steve
