I think it means that the Fortran run-time library got an error trying to convert a Win32 API error code into text. Error 1816 is "not enough quota", whatever THAT means! What was your program doing when this error occurred?

Steve

That doesn't tell me much, I'm afraid. If you'd like us to investigate, send a ZIP file of your project, including files needed to run the program, to us at vf-support@compaq.com Be sure to include a filled-out copy of BUGREPRT.TXT from the DF98 folder.

Steve
