      <description>Dear Sir,    &lt;BR /&gt;    &lt;BR /&gt;Understand that the CVF able to perform basic I/O function through the RS232 com port by using SPORT_XXX commands. Have written the following program:    &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;*****************************   &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;SUBROUTINE testrs    &lt;BR /&gt;USE DFLIB    &lt;BR /&gt;INTEGER(4)  iresult    &lt;BR /&gt;    &lt;BR /&gt;iresult = SPORT_SET_STATE(1, 9600, 0, 8, 1)    &lt;BR /&gt;iresult = SPORT_CONNECT(1, 0)    &lt;BR /&gt;iresult = SPORT_WRITE_LINE(1, 'Testing123', 0)    &lt;BR /&gt;    &lt;BR /&gt;iresult = SPORT_SHOW_STATE(1, 0)    &lt;BR /&gt;END    &lt;BR /&gt;***************************************    &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;The hyperterm of the other PC shown unreadable characters and the output screen of the CVF PC shown Com 1 is set to 1200 baud.
