License file for Intel IPP

Hi guys,

I have registered for the non-Commercial Version of Intel IPP and have also received an E-Mail with a Serial number - there was however no license file attached.

Even following availabledocumentation to obtain a license file I am unable to get the license file required for installation (i.e. there is no "manage" button when I logon, the product however is listed). The system that's supposed to take the installation is a gentoo box; the required e-builds and source files are already locally available so I don't want to download another few Gigabytes just for the sake of it. Installation (i.e. emerge in gentoo Terms) however requires the license file.

Could someone from Intel please send me the license file to my E-Mail address.

Klaus,

We no longer deliver license files for non-commercial licenses. You need to use the serial number for remote activation while installing your product. If the product is already installed you can use the Intel® Software Manager for product activation using your serial number.

many thanks for your quick reply. Does the non-delivery of license files only apply to the latest version or also to previous versions?

The reason I am asking is that I actually try to install ipp-7.1.1.192 (I specifically require version 7) together with intel-common-14.0.2.144 on gentoo. When i start the emerge process it however fails due to missing license files. The error message for ipp reads as follows:

* License file not found!
* Make sure you have recieved the an Intel license.
* To receive a non-commercial license, you need to register at:
* http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/non-commercial-software-development/
* Install the license file into /opt/intel/composerxe-2013.2.144/licenses/
* before proceeding with installation of intel-common-14.0.2.144

And a similar error message is also reported for intel-common (which is emerged [i.e. installed] prior to ipp):

* License file not found!

In essence I am not getting anywhere near entering a serial number someweher to remote activate my product.

To make it short and solve it quickly I'll send you the license files for IPP and Composer XE. Copy over the files into the license directory. I help this will help.
