    <description>Because the CurrentVersion registry key says 6.0.  I'm not sure why that should be - try reinstalling the 6.5 upgrade (which I assume you used to get to 6.5) and try again.  If that doesn't work, follow the troubleshooting tips the upgrade displays.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steve</description>

      <description>When I tried to use the 6.6 patch, I get the following error message &lt;BR /&gt;cannot be installed on visual fortran 6.0 &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;When I load Fortran, it shows 6.5. Also About shows 6.5. But then why do I get the above message.  &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Any idea? &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Venkat</description>
