topic fortran in Software Archive

I just bought the Compaq Fortran (compaq visual frotran). However, I did not find any instruction of running the software. For example, how to compile the code (to create the object module) and how to link the object modules to become an executeable (load) module. My question is how to run a fortran program. In addition, do I have to run the program under the same directory where the fortran compiler is located. <BR />Please email me the answers at ltyeh@chiaro.com. thanks

Assuming you have the manuals, see 'Getting started' chapter 4 for CVF 6.1, 'Installation and Getting started' chapter 6 for CVF 6.5.
