    <description>I wonder if you had added some options such as /IGNORELIB or /NODEFAULTLIB.  If so, remove them.  Then go to Project..Settings..Fortran..Libraries and reselect the option there that matches what you have for C++..Code Generation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steve</description>

      <title>LNK 2001 error</title>

      <description>I have an application that was previously linked and compiled under Compaq Fort ran I 6.1A ( and Visual Studio 6.0 ). I upgraded to Compaq Version 6.6 ( and Visual Studio SP 5 ) and now I get the following unresolved external link error  &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;link error Linking...  &lt;BR /&gt;LINK : warning LNK4075: ignoring /EDITANDCONTINUE due to /INCREMENTAL:NO specification  &lt;BR /&gt;dfor.lib(for_init.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __pxcptinfoptrs  &lt;BR /&gt;dfor.lib(for_m_qqs.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _errno  &lt;BR /&gt;dfor.lib(for_portlib.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _errno  &lt;BR /&gt;sa_dev_r.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 2 unresolved externals  &lt;BR /&gt;Error executing link.exe.  &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;sa_dev_r.exe - 4 error(s), 1 warning(s)  &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;Help! Can anyone tell me how I can resolve the missing externals ( __pxcptinfoptrs and _errno )?  &lt;BR /&gt;Thanks  &lt;BR /&gt;Wayne</description>
