I would suggest that when posting new messages on the new message board, there is a reminder of the use of the HTML tags and a list of the useful ones - if only those for source code.

Bear of little brain

I see that I am not the only one to have lost messages to your Black Hole recently: I tried twice to add one to "How to ignore tabs" to thank James van Buskirk for his very useful scraps of code, but gave up. Thanks anyway, James, if you read this.

Can anything be done about improving the system so that it does not lose messages?

Bear of little brain

Discussions are underway at Intel for hosting the message board - I expect to see a new facility online soon (within a month?) Either of the proposed solutions is superior to the current Compaq facility.

Steve

Will Intel preserve the current discussions? We lost a lot of information when converted from the original forum software to the current version.

Mike

At worst, this current forum will stay around. I am trying to see if I can get the new forum loaded with this forum's content, but can't make any promises right now.

Steve

The Intel message board won't require HTML tags for source - there is a "post code" button.

Steve
