      <description>I don't understand the question.  Are you looking for environment variables used to compile from a command prompt?  The Visual Fortran installation will create these system-wide if you ask it to during installation.  You can establish them for the current session by using the Fortran Command Prompt item under Start..Programs..Compaq Visual Fortran 6.  Also, see the tool pointed to by &lt;A href="http://www.compaq.com/fortran/kb/q1038.html"&gt;Knowledge Base article 1038&lt;/A&gt; - this will also set up the environment variables on WIndows 2000.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steve</description>
