We have an application (on linux) that forks multiple copies of a multi-threaded app we would like to monitor with Inspector.

I
was having problems with it not seeing known memory issues of these
child processes (yes, the child application config is defined) and saw
the following in the linux release notes:

If a child
application is selected for analysis, the Intel Inspector XE analyzes only the
first instance of that application, even if multiple instances of that
application occur.

Is this a limitation of the current Linux
build or is this just how the app works? In the future will multiple
copies be supported?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Intel Inspector XE analyzes only the firstinstance of that application, even if multiple instances
of that application occur.

This is a limitation documented in the release notes for Intel
