Hello, I want to try learning some parallel fortran stuff so I tried an example on one of our
ds20's (j.f90 is one of the test codes provided with HPF). I got the following which stumps me:

f90 -g -hpf -distribute 2 -hpf_target cmpi j.f90 -o hpf_example.x -L /usr/lib/cmplrs/hpfrtl
ld:
Object file format error in: /usr/lib/cmplrs/hpfrtl: read_cur_obj_info: File is not a regular file
f90: Severe: Failed while trying to link.

all the required kits (fortran, rtl, hpf, and cxml) are loaded and licensed...am I missing something ?

Best regards,
Peter
___________________________________________
Department: Mathematics, NJIT
Office : Cullimore Hall, Rm. 608
Phone : (973)596-5626
FAX : (973)596-6467
E-mail : peterp@m.njit.edu
URL : http://www-ec.njit.edu/~peterp/
