Dear all,

I used to only have Intel Fortran Compiler on my machine. I bought Intel
parallel Studio after Steve (http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/showthread.php?t=105176) pointed out that I need to update my compiler to
resolve the issue which i had mentioned in my previous post. I installed the
compiler initially using the update option in the setup. But I only had Intel
visual Fortran in the new project sections on MVS as well as other type
projects but no sign of C++. I have MVS2008 standard edition and MVS2011 EE. Shoud I just install MSV 2005 or there is any other way to activate C++?

Many thanks,

Hi,

Quoting jayemmar

Just installed successfully 30 day trial of Parrallel Studio and chose integrate with MS VS Studio 2010.
When I brought up VS2010 I could not find any references to the INTEL C++ compiler on any of the menus...

What editionofMS Visual Studio are you using? Express? Professional? Or something else?

Intel C++ compilers cannot be integrated with Express Editions ( EE )of MS Visual Studios. I verified itwith
VS2008 EE and VS2010 EE. In my case integration with MS Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition ( PE )was successful.

Best regards,
Sergey
