      <title>installation fails because...</title>

      <description>96% the way into the installation, it craps out saying that it is unable to create a "Visual Fortran 5.0" program folder in the start menu.  It is suggested that I make the folder myself and retry the installation.  I make the properly named folder in Documents and Settings start menu, but that fails, too.  Does anyone know if it is impossible to install v5.0 on XP or am I doing something wrong?</description>
