So, when I create MS ADO Data Control on the dialog and set all properties which reffer to data connection, source etc. and chek this out with test button I am getting correct behaviour of the MS Data Grid control (which is bound to MS ADO Data Control) which means that Data Grid control is populated with data from a database. But, when I compile it and start debuf mode Data Control is empty and , in addition, both controls ADO Data Control and Data Grid Control are disabled. I have tried to create COM variable (call COMCREATEOBJECTByProgID ("MSAdodcLib.Adodc.6", adoctlptr, status)) and to asign object pointer to the control on the dialog form (lret = DLGSET (dlg, IDC_ADOCTRL,adoctlptr)) but then lret is FALSE. Does anyone know where I have mistaken or what is really going on and why it does not work? Thanks in advance.
