      <description>I don't get it. By vs.NET do you mean Visual Studio .NET? What does Intel have to do with it? When is this supposed to happen?</description>

      <description>Future versions of Visual Fortran will be sold by Intel (http://www.intel.com/software/products/), as Intel acquired the Visual Fortran product team last summer (http://www.compaq.com/fortran/ipf-enterprise.html). The combined engineering team is working on a "best of both worlds" release that will integrate with the Visual Studio.NET development environment.</description>
