unlock code does not work

Am trying to install intel fortran on mac (os x). Internet path for registration does not work. Am now trying manual technique. Successfully downloaded unlock code, but now get error when code is entered into registration software. What now please.

Copy the license file sent to you to the c:Program FilesCommon FilesIntelLicenses folder

When installing, please try the option to provide the license file instead of the serial number.

It's possible the write permissions could have been the problem all along.
