Ok then you can try running the flashall.bat instead. You can download the dfu-util.exe from a post here.

Copy this file in the image folder and run the flashall.bat file to flash the Edison. This should fix the issue.

Hello,

I have an Edison that I believe needs to be reset. I upgraded the OS to the latest Yocto and now remote debugging doesn't work. I just want to reset it back to absolutely nothing and just start fresh. I tried cmd line deleting the contents of D:/ re-extracting the image, reboot ota, as well as do_ota from the boot menu.

It boots back up and still has its name, wifi settings and lots of other stuff. How can I just wipe the whole thing and get it back like it was shipped in the box?

I am using Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

Thanks,

~David
