Trying to push files to test server i get this error for every few files. I select dismiss and then select push files again and then a few seconds go by and then get this error again with another file. Each time i select dismiss and push again seems to get a few files further. With thousands of file in lib this is not practical. This just started happening after latest update today Intel XDK 1878 i think is the version i cannot seem to find another indication of version.

Is this in the Test tab, or the Build tab? Whats happening is you files are being zipped, and then the zip is sent to the cloud. Are you an administrator of your computer? Just wondering if you having write permissions... What type of computer?

Hi John, This is under both test and build. I am admin and it did work before I have posted the mobile app and tested it. Updates were made to html and javascript files but nothing to lib folder. I do not see the zipping of files only dialog box from xdk then error dialog box. See pics.

This is a windows 8 and i am able to use compress files to zip outside of xdk on the same folders.

Again this worked before and I posted the project to the servers until I upgraded XDK to version 1878. I rebooted and changed directories to a new one but still same problem.

If I close XDK and then re-open then try pushing again the process starts again with the first file and then each subsequent dismiss and select of push files follows the same pattern.

What appears to be your project name (com.mobifyer.bgfms) is concerning. When you create an app in the XDK, it doesnt allow the periods. Can you create a new app and do not include the periods and try uploading. What version of the XDK are you running?

I get the same Issue. The funny thing is if you compile it again XDK complains about a different file. I don't have periods but underscores but used underscores with many other projects as well and were able to compile this project inside XDK before. IT seems like a problem with one of the new updates.

I event tried to recreate the project but still get the issue

Yes definitely an issue with new build and external imported projects. I even tried importing a new project with different names and still had the problem. I also created a XDK project within XDK and this did build and upload ok. I tried uninstalling all of XDK and re-installing fresh but no luck.

I used another computer without upgrading the XDK and it still works ok so its not the project. I'm thinking its not the "." dots or "_" underscores.

So I've given up on XDK and using Ionic View platform instead - this is the main reason i was using XDK in the first place, the ability to share with the client the builds. The second biggest reason for trying XDK was the layout editor, however I find the layout (wysiwyg) a bit primitive for what we are trying to accomplish. So back to hand coding and using ionic view.

I can zip the project ok outside of xdk but seems to be a problem still with new build 1912 where I cannot sync files to server because xdk cannot read the files.

Hello Erhard/Steve,

How large is your app? Please make sure all the files are contained in www folder of your app. For testing purpose you can upload your project zip file to cloud using App Center: https://appcenter.html5tools-software.intel.com > update QA. Try uploading there so we know that the project size is not the issue.

1. If you used appCenter to upload your files, it uploads them to your apps QA slot, you then need to Promote to Production to get the new files in a build.

2. Your earlier screenshot is shows E/ Is the folder of your project a network location or another drive that is not the drive of your computers OS?

My application is on C:\ with a directory structure like this below. I was able to zip up the www folder and load the zip package to https://appcenter.html5tools-software.intel.com ok and get it to update on the intel preview app ok. So problem still with the XDK doing the zipping stating that it cannot read files. I am using Windows 8 and now build 1912 of xdk.
