Greetings,

You need to register the serial number you purchased at Intel Registration Center. Once done you will be provided with an license file in e-mail. Copy the license file to the

\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses location. Make Sure it has the .lic extension.

You will not have to reinstall the compiler, you will be all set, once you copy the license file.

//The expired license will also be in the same folder.

Thank You

Registering/activating an evaluation copy of Fortran after expiry of evaluation period

I recently purchased the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows from a reseller. Unfortunately my evaluation copy expired before I was able to complete the purchase. How, if at all, can I use the serial number I now have to activate the expired evaluation copy? If that is not possible, do I have to uninstall and start with a new download from scratch?

Perhaps I should mention that my evaluation copy is IA-32 and I am using it in command-line mode only. There is no Intel window in which I can tell the evaluation copy about the new serial number.

Thanks.
