Change file type

Hi,
in the Code-Files (Develop Tab), there is an option to change the file
type to Java or C#. This makes me wonder if there is a possibility to
change the programming language for a whole project from JS to Java.
Are there any examples or instructions?

To what option are you referring? How does one see it? Have you installed any Brackets plugins, maybe you are seeing one of those.

As to your question: no, that's not possible. There are no examples or instructions. If you want to work in Java, consider using Android Studio.

Hi,

the editor supports all the languages.But you cannot write apps in Java using XDK. You can open Java files if it is the part of plugin. Hope this helps.
