LaunchExternal not working on iOS

intel.xdk.device.launchExternal is working in Live Layout and the emulator but is not working under any compiled app. The link just does not fire.

I have both Cordova and XDK Device plugins active but the plugins do not appear in the Config XML files.

OK looked at this more closely.

I opened the plugin folder and monitored what was going on.

Should adding an XDK plugin alter the json file and copy the plugin to the plugins folder. This is only happening to the cordova plugins, nothing happens when I select any XDK plugins, which might explain why I am not able to use the sendSMS XDK plugin as well.

Sorry title should not mention iOS as the function is not working on any device except the emulator not even App Preview
