Why does my app designer view have a blue bar at the top and bottom half way from the left. How did it get there, and how do I get rid of it?

On the App Designer toolbar there is a button with two arrows on it. A "reload" button. Click it to reload App Designer

OK, I think I have it figured

OK, I think I have it figured out.

Under the themes pulldown on the left, there's a second pulldown with various options (Device Native, IOS, IOS 7, etc). The blue bar will change to different colors depending on what you select. I believe it's related to the header and footer. I may have had a project where I deleted the header and footer - that's when (at least I think) the blue bar showed up. It shows as half the header area.

Regards,
