Compatibility with other hardware

Are there any chances that new drivers will improve the compatibility with hardware (e.g. AMD or other Intel CPUs)?

I don't want to purchase a new computer for the contest and with my current setup I can't work with the SDK.

Sorry Erik, RealSense SDK is only validated with Intel 4th Generation CPUs and newer ones.

As for 3D camera hardware,

Are there any chances that create a new USB3.0 controller (Image Signal Processor, 3D camera hardware) could compatible with Intel 4th processor?

From device manger point view,

Does the 3D camera hardware be regarded as an image device (as Webcam) or two devices?

@Eric - Not quite sure what you are asking about USB. The Intel RealSense Camera should show in Device Manager as 3 devices.
