&lt;P&gt;Look at this screenshot. &amp;nbsp;You can see Chinese in the app, in the Design Properties pane, the code view, even in the name of the component. &amp;nbsp;I'm just copy/pasting Chinese text from a file that is UTF-8 encoded (ie, the default character encoding for Javascript/JSON, and also the encoding specified in the meta tag of the HTML doc)&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Chinese Language Font issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Try with latest XDK 1995 under windows 7 64bit.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;No matter "design" mode or "code" mode. There's no way to display Chinese font. It seems by default Chinese font color is the same as background, or it simply couldn't support Chinese?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Any way try to add SimSun font in brackets's&amp;nbsp;brackets.min.css, but still can't work out with it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Hopefully this bug can be solved ASAP!&lt;/P&gt;
