Hi,

If your processor does not support the Virtualization Technology (VT, VTx, vmx and others) you are not going to be able to use KVM.
But you can create an AVD instance that is not accelerated and use it instead. It will e very slow but it will work, try to use an AVD with a smaller resolution to make it a bit faster.

Good luck.

Android emulator without KVM

Hello everyone,

I just started to lean android on Linux platform 32 bit OS. I installed android sdk and eclipse. But Android emulator is not working.

There is a message "KVM is not installed/properly installed" when launching android emulator. I checked evrything. And I found that my hardware configuration doesn't support hardware virtualisation Intel x86 Atom Processor codename "Pineview". Hence unable to install KVM and therefore unable to launch android emulator.

Is there any way I could work without KVM?

How about QEUM????? Can I link android emulator with qeum and work?

Please share you valuable knowledge with me. Desparately needed!!!!!

Thank you.
