You are going to have to be a little more specific with the question please. You can add icons in the XDK for your app, but I am not sure that is what you are asking is it?

i sorted that out i have another question:

1. how do i link my app to a schools finance system??? so that parents can see financial statements of there kids????

2. How do i link the schools database to the app??

3. How do i upload newsletters to the app after parents download it from play store?

You just asked a bunch of questions that are way out of the scope of these forums.

1. You will need to contact the school to see if they are willing to allow you to access their finance database. I am going to guess they will not.

2. You will need to contact the schools database admin for details on this, if you get past #1.

3. You can upload a newsletter and have the app pull the remote content, but you need to get past 1 and 2 first.
