Hi,

Just wondering if there is any software in the Intel Parallel Studio which might transmit client source code to Intel? For example, if the Intel C++ compiler runs into a problem, will the source code it was trying to compile at the time be sent to Intel for analysis?

Nick,

There is NO client source code being transferred to Intel in case of a compiler error. Please refer to our 'Intel® Software Improvement Program' under https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/software-improvement-program about details. The only information that is being sent to Intel if you choosed to participate in the pogram are:

Feature usage information such as GUI options and command line switches
Component usage including compiler switches and analysis time
