How to Open Native Settings App in Android?

Hello,

I am trying to detect data connection using the Connection plugin and when no connection is detected I would like to open the native Android Settings App so that the user can either turn on data or wifi. Does anybody here know how to do this?

I am using XDK 2170 and Cordova/JQuery Mobile framework.

You're going to have to find a Cordova or Phonegap plugin that will do that. Any attempt to do something "native" requires a plugin. Sometimes one has been written, sometimes you have to write it yourself. See the intro sections of the following docs for more info:
