      <description>Steve,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After reading the forum items each day, I use the "Mark Forum as read".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On IE8, over the last few weeks, this command always times out before redisplaying the page, although the entries seem to be all marked as read.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have just received my new laptop which has a default install of IE6, which I have not yet upgraded.
