Well, I was able to get the raw data from the 3D camera with an Asus T100, which has an Atom CPU.

But, the Intel Stick only has a USB2.0, so it will not work as the camera requires USB3.0

Have a look at the Minnowboard Max.

Hello,

Can I use Intel RealSense 3D Camera with Intel Compute Stick?

Want to develop Facial Recognition System

Thanks in Advance

Best Regards

I suspect that RealSense

I suspect that RealSense would not work with the Compute Stick. The Stick uses an Intel Atom processor, so this means that the front-facing F200 camera would not operate on it (since it needs an Intel Core processor). The rear-facing R200 camera has upcoming support for the Intel Atom processor but the Stick's processor is apparently a "Bay Trail" type Atom rather than the "Cherry Trail" type that the R200 will support.

Its USB port is apparently USB 3.0 and the stick comes with Windows 8.1. So it meets the RealSense spec in those respects It also has 32 gb of storage, which is enough space to load the SDK onto. But even if the Bay Trail processor did not stop it from working with the R200 camera, the Stick's 2 GB of on-board memory might not be sufficient to run the camera and SDK properly (since Windows 8.1 would probably consume a chunk of that memory even before anything else is run).
