&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure, but I think the Intel notification plugin is deprecated, at least not listed in the plugin Manager anymore, it's better to use the Core Cordova Notification Plugin. And remember: this will not work in the emulator! (neither the intel notification plugin)&lt;/P&gt;
