Hi,

I want to know about the thread scheduling techniques used in Intel Xeon Phi Processors, and what are the differences between Static, Dynamic and Block scheduling ?

Thanks,

Hello Mohammad,

If you are referring to OpenMP thread scheduling it should be no different than the standards. If you were looking for more information on OpenMP affinity then please refer to this article and let me know if it answers your question: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/process-and-thread-affinity-for-intel-xeon-phi-processors-x200

Thanks,

Hello Sunny,

I the thread scheduling was a feature included in Intel Format Prototype Package and it is not included in the new Inspector-Executor. Thanks for the reply and the interesting link
