How to leverage Intel RealSense on Edison platform

We want to use Intel RealSense Gesture recognition feature on Edison platform running Yocto linux.

Does anyone having an idea about how to leverage Intel RealSense on Edison platform?

You can't use the RealSense

You can't use the RealSense camera directly on an Edison since the Edison only has USB2 and the camera requires USB3.

But, you can always read the RealSense camera data from somewhere else and send it to the Edison through the network, which may or may not be relevant to your application.
