Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller and OGRE 3-D, please help

Hello, we have been trying to run an ogre 3-D app on this system below with no luck so far. We have been able to run the app on a system that uses the 82845 graphic controller. Is there a media accellerator for this 82815 chip like the x3100 for the intel 965? any help is appreciated. Sincerely, thank you.

No, 82815 will not support modern 3D graphics. It is too old a chip. In fact, it had trouble running 3D games in the year 2000, when a Voodoo 3 would work fine.

If the system has an AGP port, then you can plug in an NVIDIA or ATI/AMD graphics card with AGP support, assuming it is high voltage tolerant -- not an AGP 8x card!

There is a slightly more recent driver: 6.13.01.3196
Check the Change History if it affects you.
But I doubt that this will help you.
