Creating iOS Certificate on Windows

OK, I just dropped $100 on an Apple developer account, and am I screwed for having a Windows computer?

Here is the link on how to create the iOS certificate you need to publish your apps, and you need a Mac computer: http://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/articles/walkthrough-obtain-ios-appstore-adhoc-cert

Is there a way to create this certificate without a Mac?

P.S. Forum staff, can you allow copy and paste? I had to hand type that URL so I hope I got it right. You also can't copy and paste URLs like 3rd party plugins on XDK.

P.S.S. I did try to search this topic on the forum, and the links would not click.

There are services available

There are services available to help you upload your app to the Mac store. Some of the forum members may be able to help you. Also, if you have a friend with a Mac, they should be able to help you. As Josef said, the only thing you need a Mac for is to upload the final result into the Apple Store.

Why doesn't Apple tell you

Why doesn't Apple tell you this before you fork over $100 and sign up for auto-renew?

The link on how to upload with Windows doesn't work; it just takes me to the log in, and if I log in, then try the link again, it goes back to log in. My questions on Apple are going unanswered.

I do have an extra laptop,, looking at the video, I don't think my extra laptop has duo-core, 64 bit, blah, blah, blah, and I don't want to accidentally screw up my main laptop install Mac OS.

So I need to give someone I don't know access to my Apple developer account? Just when I think I have this going, a big monkey wrench gets thrown in.
