Hello,

Once you get around some of the initial problems you're encountering, note that if you want to use GPA to analyze mplayer, you'll need to run mplayer in DirectX mode (with DX 9.x or DX 10.0), as GPA only works with these API's. I have seen that mplayer has many different command-line modes controlling how it runs (such as with OpenGL), which is why I am mentioning this (as I haven't scanned the actual code for this special version of mplayer to verify which API it is using).

Also, the graphics chipset you mentioned does not have hardware support for all of the metrics you might be interested in, so you'll have to experiment to see if GPA can help you out for your specific situation.

Regards,

Neal
Hello,

I'm not able to help you get mplayer to work with your specific configuration (as this forum is dedicated to questions about using Intel's GPA product).

I'm therefore moving this post to a different forum which may be able to help you find an answer to your problem.

Regards,

Neal
