Sorry, but we do not have such an article, it is outside the scope of the support we're able to provide. I would search for solutions to your problem that are for a cordova or phonegap app. The XDK creates standard Cordova (aka PhoneGap) apps, so any solution you find for those apps should work with the XDK. I say "should" because there are some Cordova plugins that will not work with our cloud-based build system which can restrict some solutions you may find.

XDK phone app to eHost server mySQL integration

Hello supporting team!

I need to code a phone app/tablet app using my IntelXDK (that I LOVE) that displays an entry form to access my MySQL-enabled database in my eHost server and then display a responsive form back to the phone/tablet.

All I need to learn is that specific linking bridge from the phone/tablet to the server's database.

I am looking for answers online but all is counter-intuitive and uber-confusing.

Would you please point me to a baby-steps, intuitive, Intel-formatted tutorial or to a simplistic how-to DIY lecture?

I would truly appreciate this big helping hand.

Sincerely,

Homer J. Gallego
