Does Intel XDK build support Gradle and framework tag?

Hello Intel.

Please can you confirm if the XDK Cordova 5.4.1 Android build system now supports Gradle and plugins that use the associated framework tags?

We are currently investigating the implementation for supporting Gradle scripts in a future Intel XDK release.

When will be support for gradle scripts available? Last week two plugins in newest versions, which I am using in my project, cannot be build in IntelXDK, so I was force to use older versions, which is obvoiusly only temporary solution

We are not allowed to publish release dates. Work is still in progress on an effort to support gradle scripts in plugins. The workaround is to use Cordova CLI directly on your system.

Any changes to this topic? More and more plugins are using gradle scripts.

I would be very happy to hear that your investigations on that topic were finished with a positive result and gradle skript will be supported soon.

Our build system still does not support gradle scripts in third-party plugins. I'm unable to provide any more information at this time. :-(
