Using R200 Scene Perception on conveyor objects

I know the R200 is supposed to work on rotating objects, or for the R200 itself to go around the object, but can I expect it to work for objects passing by on, for example, a conveyor belt?

Can we build a mesh of the object on the fly like that?

Will the algorithm not like the fact the object is going left-right rather than just staying centered and rotating?
