topic Hello, in Software Archive

Hello,

I agree, the reseller website you provided is not clear on licensing vs OS. However, PSXE for Windows, Linux and Mac software packages are all separate.

This reseller, for example is more clear when it come to license for each software packages:

https://www.cdw.com/shop/search/Software/Database-Business-Intelligence-Software/Developer-Tools-Software/result20.aspx?w=F42&key=&ln=0&b=INT

I apologize for the confusion and suggest to contact the reseller directly and clarify licenses for Intel software packages.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or need help with Intel Software Products.

Floating licence multi os ?

In my company, we want to use intel composer and pro tools in both linux and windows environment.

Do we need to buy floating licences for each os (like 2 linux floating licences + 2 windows floating licences)

or can we take 2 floating licences, they are not os specific.

Hello,

I have watched before the packages descriptions and also the FAQ for flex lm licences and coud not understand the licence scheme is os specific.

Some of the intel resellers are very confusing as they sell the licence without precising the os , see that :

http://www.ritme.com/fr/product/outils-intel/articles

french to english , jeton = token , perpetuelle = lifetime

Sometime licence are os specific, sometimes not.

Thank you,

Benoit.
