Multiple compiler and libraries folder in installation directory

Hi,

I first installed Intel parallel studio 2016 update 1, then update 3 and now update 4.

In my installation directory at C:\Program Files (x86)\IntelSWTools there are multiple directories for each of the above installation named as

compilers_and_libraries_2016.1.146

compilers_and_libraries_2016.3.207

compilers_and_libraries_2016.4.246

each one sizing in multiple of GBs.

My question is, is it important to keep all of them? or can I remove the Update 1 and Update 3 and save storage space?

Hi,

You do not need to keep those. The bet way to gt rid of these is to uninstall using their installer in Control Panel.
