	&lt;DIV style="font-family: roboto, 'helvetica neue', helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;"&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;I am working on core-isolation for 64-bit-x86 &amp;nbsp;target by running linux-4.9 kernel.&amp;nbsp; I am able to achieve 100% cpu-1 idle using "&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;SPAN style="white-space: pre-wrap; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"&gt;cset shield -k on -f -c 1&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;" &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;but when&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I check&amp;nbsp;"cat /proc/interrupt" status, observed that all interrupts increment got &amp;nbsp;stopped except &amp;nbsp;"Local timer interrupts" and "Function call interrupts" on cpu-1.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;

	&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: rgb(102, 0, 0); font-size: 12.8px; font-family: roboto, 'helvetica neue', helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Is that expected &amp;nbsp;that &amp;nbsp;both&amp;nbsp;"Local timer interrupts" and "Function call interrupts" is not getting stop in full tickless kernel&amp;nbsp; when cpu-1 in core isolation ? if yes than why ? &amp;nbsp;and if it &amp;nbsp;is possible to stop these interrupts on x86 than please let me know what changes we need &amp;nbsp;?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;
